| Basement furnace room. Another view of the basement
furnace room, this one showing the commercial oil furnace which
heats the house. The tree timber on the right has had a steel jack
added near it to provide additional support. The wooden crate on
the left I didn’t discover until a month after moving in
contained M1 shells from WW2 which we promptly had the sheriff
remove and dispose of. Can’t imagine why anyone would store
ammunition so close to a furnace. |
