| This photograph shows some of the molth damage that
was done to much of the carpeting the house. Fotunately underneath
the carpet is hardwood floors which are in fairly good shape. Carpet
like this was removed from the dining room and round foyer exposing
the wood floors. The previous owner described a scene reminescent
of a flock of bird rising from the afrain plain as they attempted
to vaccuum the moths out of the carpet when they purchased the
house. Why they kept the carpet on the floors is questionable,
but at least did provide protection to the hardwood until now as
we get ready to refinish the floors. |
